Maurice DeVinna was born April 12, 1907, in Indian Territory and died in Tulsa April 1, 2004. He was a Harvard graduate and attended the Sorbonne in Paris. He led an interesting life. He was Fine Arts Editor for the Tulsa World for many years; helped return art to rightful owners after World War II during his service in the Army; helped the Tulsa Ballet become famous; and many other accomplishments.
