Hannah Denise McCarty - Class of 2005

Hannah Denise McCarty (class of 2005) joined Classen School of Advanced Studies in 7th grade as a dance major. She majored in drama in 10th grade as she loved acting as well as dancing, and was accepted in the musical theater program for the next year, but sadly she departed this life before she was to start 11th grade. Her classmates included her in their Class of 2005 celebrations. Her drama friends presented a speech that Hannah wrote entitled "Laughter" at their baccalaureate service. Her dance friends choreographed a beautiful dance for her which they performed at their senior program while vocal majors sang Amazing Grace. Hannah's name was called at their graduation ceremony, and a rose was placed in an empty chair in her memory.
