Rolley White Chapman was born in Clinton County, KY. He was in the Union Army during the Civil War. He was a 1st Lt. in Company C, of the 32nd Regiment of the Kentucky Volunteer Infantry and then was a 2nd Lt. in Company E, 13th Regiment of the Kentucky Cavalry Volunteers. He died in Wetumka, Hughes Co., OK, 6 May, 1910.
