Jeanne Harreld Rhodes 1928–1990

My Mom was born and raised in Oklahoma City, where she lived most of her life. Her father, Ward Harreld, came to Ardmore from Kentucky as an infant in 1904 with his parents, US Sen. John W. and Laura Harreld. Her mother, Eleanor Begg, came to Oklahoma from Ohio when she married Ward in 1924. Mom married Dad, Horace Rhodes (born OKC 1928), in OKC in 1950. Together they had: James in 1958, Laura in 1960, and Rebecca in 1964—all born in Oklahoma City.
