John Howard McManus, Jr. and Maryanne McManus, brother and sister, were born in Oklahoma City. Howard graduated from Central High in 1933 and Maryanne in 1939. Howard graduated from University of So. Cal. at LA and enlisted in WWII. After the war, he married Floydine Eva Lloyd and had two children. Howard served in Korea. Howard died in 1986. Maryanne married Max Mitchell Fischer and had 4 children. She was very active in volunteer work.
