Emory E. Tonkinson: Pioneer Caddo Co. farmer. He made the run of '89. He drew his farm in the El Reno land drawing. SW quarter, sec. 20 in twp 11N of range 11W of Indian Meridan, OK contining 160 acres. Patent issued Sep 13th. He farmed it until he was 96 years old. He was a leader and good neighbor of the Sugar Creek school community. He raised five children on this farm: two nurses, two teachers, and a businessman.
