William Albert & Nell Franklin

Wm. Albert was born in TX in 1887 to Wm. Henry & Kitty Franklin. He married Nellie Lois Baker in 1922. They both taught school. He received from OU a Bachelors (1924), Masters (1927) & PhD (1934). He retired from teaching in 1952. He ran for County School Superintendent and held post from 1952-1969. He died Jul 25, 1982, at age 95. Nellie died Sep 6, 1964. She was devoted to garden clubs. Both are buried in Resthaven Memorial Park.
