William Henry & Kitty Franklin

Wm. Henry Franklin was born in MO. He served in the Confederate forces the last 2 years of war. After the war, he joined his mother in TX. There he married Catherine Ann (Kitty) Walsh. Wm. Henry became a frontier preacher in the Cumberland Methodist Church. He gave the invocation at the cornerstone laying of the Washita Co. Courthouse in 1910. Kitty died in 1929 and is buried in Hooker, OK. Wm. Henry died in 1935 and is buried in Tahlequah.
