John and Carrie were the grandparents of Nona Dugger Thompson. John was the son of Tilman Dugger and Carrie the daughter of William M. Hall and Mary E Baker. They were married 10 May 1910, at Boggy Depot and lived there until moving to Hartshorne in 1927. Their children were Harold, Carl, Dorothy, Raymond, and Wesley Ray. John was a farmer and they had a garden, a milk cow and chickens to feed the family.
