Raymond Dugger was the son of John W. and Carrie Hall Dugger and the father of Nona Dugger Thompson. He and Carrie Williams married at McAlester, Oklahoma, in April 1939 and lived in the Craig community west of Haileyville. Carrie died in childbirth when Nona was born in March 1940. He married Betty White and had a daughter, Ann Toni. He also married Thelma Ruth Conner and had sons Raymond Jr. and Cleon.
