Monogrammed Brick Stories
Carlton Weaver
Submitted by Mollie Weaver Hopper
Carlton Weaver represented District 87 as a member of the Constitutional Convention of Oklahoma. He was one of the two youngest members, being 25 at the time. Weaver settled in Wilburton where he was a newspaper owner/editor for 30 years. He was Speaker of the House of the Thirteenth Legislature of Oklahoma. Weaver donated some of the lands he acquired in Latimer County to the state, which became Robbers Cave State Park. He is buried at that site.
The next four bricks after his brick are his only child, Mollie Weaver Hopper, and his three grandsons, Galli Davis, Tabor Davis, and Shaun Davis.
