My husband, Jim Hatcher, was born in Wichita, Kansas, on July 31, 1929, and died in Lakewood, Colorado, on July 29, 2011, just two days shy of his 82nd birthday. He grew up in Watonga, El Reno, and Oklahoma City, graduating from Classen High School in 1947. He received a Bachelor of Architecture from Oklahoma University in 1953, having studied under Bruce Goff. He was very proud of his Oklahoma heritage.
